Artist Statement

My most resent photographs are created with a digital camera in my home studio. My preference is black and white images and some minor corrections are done in Photoshop. My preference in models are plus size, Rubenesque or BBW. I love their soft curves and the challenge of creating images that reflect their inner beauty. I find real beauty in my plus models. The ones I have photographed seem to be much more comfortable in their skin. Most of the models who I have photographed want to be depicted as they are. Particularly the more mature models who accept their body flaws and even consider them to be road maps of their own lives. The photos I have placed here are examples of this very type of model. She is in her 60’s and loves to be in front of a camera. She is very uninhibited.
